ShareX is a free open-source screen capture and screencasting program for Microsoft Windows. It’s considered one of those secret jems that only the software developers and IT people know about, and it’s both versatile and robust containing many features not available with the free open source screen capture software products available today.
I have purchased and used several other screen capture tools including one of the best called, Snag-it by TechSmith and I have found that ShareX outperforms snag-it in workflow management, ease of use and quick accessibility. Considering the fact that ShareX is a free open source product, its a very good addition to any product developers battery of tools.
In the following video series, I will be reviewing all of the major features that are available to you within ShareX, and after you are finished, you’ll be ready to start utilizing this great screen capture tool.
If you find this tool useful and it becomes something valuable to you, consider giving some sort of donation to the developers so they can continue to make this product even better.
